COSAS WESTERN CAPE IS CONCERN ABOUT ANYONE WHO ASSOCIATED WITH NYAOPE

CONGRESS OF SOUTH AFRICAN STUDENTS WESTERN CAPE PROVINCE
 "Sjambok anyone associated with nyaope"
26th April 2016 (Saturday)

Congress Of South African Students in the Western Cape (COSAS) has always been in the forefront of Championing the interest of All Scholars within the ranks of the Province, We Will Continue to be the light of the poor.
...
We have noted a "tokoloshe" that is slowly killing innocent scholars in our schools, defined as Nyaope, whoonga (sometimes spelt wunga) or BoMkon is a cheap drug and costs R20 to R30 per packet (or hit) and has been around since the early 2000s. It is a concoction of heroin, dagga and anything else the drug dealers can lay their hands on. The average addict would use five packets per day, which adds up to more than R150 per day, more than the average wage in the country. Some addicts smoke up to 10 packets per day.

Cde Michael Mayalo's photo. Scholars steal everything and from anyone to fund their drug habit, Once Nyaope is smoked, the user experiences intense euphoria, deep contentment and relaxation. The user feels warm when cold, calm when angry and filled when hungry. The feeling is beyond human experience and the intense effect lasts for about four hours. When this blissful state wears off after six to 24 hours , agonising withdrawal symptoms set in like severe abdominal pain and back ache, sweating, chills, anxiety, restlessness, depression, nausea and diarrhoea.

On a daily basis see police cruising around our School's with 4x4 police vans but that does not stop the drug dealers from selling to poor innocent scholars over school fences, this proves nothing about our South African Police Service being the weakest link in Africa, Our police service is nothing but useless including the so called mighty metro police.
As Congress Of South African Students in Western Cape (COSAS -WC) we haul a call on all scholars within the ranks of the province to join us in the fight to turn our schools to "Nyaope-free-zone", Sjambok anyone that you see selling nyaope or providing, together we can break the silence.
We think it's too bad that scholar's decided to turn on drugs, we don't think drugs are the problem, Crime is the problem, Police are the problem, money is the problem, but drugs are just drugs.
We can even make our own Sjamboks.
