I like to take this moment to greet you in your name and in the name of learners organization COngress of South African Students (COSAS).
Political school
As former leadership of COngress of South African Students of Sebetwane and Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati Regional deputy chairperson, I stand before you to give you understanding about this big organization, this organization was formed to campaign the interests of learners, generation of Cde Ephraim Mogale played their part, now you must play your part, what you do during your generation will determine your role within this organization.
You must recruit learners to this big organization of learners, you must recruit as many as you can so that this organization will lead learners forever you pave way for coming generation so that things will be smooth in school, COSAS is still relevant because learners pay school fees hence education system is poor, we concern about our education system that is not quality enough and compulsory to all, in most cases is black children suffering in terms of education especially the one that live in the rural areas.
Leadership training
We need leadership that will put interests of its members first, is type of leadership that we need, COSAS is here to teach you because known as primary school of politics of African National Congress, leadership must treat all members equal, even if other don't support you but you mustn't take things by heart so that you will manage to lead this big organization that play good role within ANC, what you do now you will continue with even if you old, what is important is to be grow politically, but if you refuse to be old enough politically is challenge and that means you dangerous to yourself and to the organization.
Now is time to learn things, you must know your role within the organization as leadership, if you know your role that means you product that we need within organization, you must state leading yourself before you lead other people but if you fail to lead yourself that means you will fail to lead other people, self discipline is key, if you cannot discipline yourself that means you dangerous to yourself and to the organization, you cooperation is appreciated.
